This zone stretches from Port'dAndratx virtually all the way to Pollensa, and is Majorc'as most beautiful area. The Serra de Tramuntana mountains, which were declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2010, are in this area. It is divided into three parts: the south, as far as the village of Esporles; the centre, as far as the bay of Sóller; and the north, as far as the town of Pollensa. The southern part includes the villages of Estellencs, Esporles and Banyalbufar, with its pebbled cove and small waterfall where the fresh water from the mountains flows into the sea. The Arabian influence on this mountainous region's agriculture can be seen in the form of the construction of terraces.
